Sadness Debt
The broken-spirited child
Holds whispers in her eyes
Clandestine comfort
As none such exists
Moves with breath drawn
If at all
Waits for everyone
Stillness plumbs the depths
Surveillance repelling sanctimony
The saving grace
Who but the wretched
can find a path
To encompass all things
Promise of suffering
Rings round the drain
Ever to wash clean
Dare not meet the eye
Expanse shown
May be known afar
Lacking pretense
So shrink to size
That allows passage (wonderland)
All these chapters
Weights and scars
The one still waiting, a child
A mirror past
Pressed for time
Reveals an ingress
When I see your hand in mine
I want to know who you love
I want to feel what you do
What have I given myself?
For I cannot give to you
Forgiven myself for?
Until then, cannot give to you
